Do you have specific questions about concrete work or other concrete services we provide? We may have some quick and easy answers for you below in our FAQ. Check out this list of frequently asked questions or please reach contact us to chat over the phone. We’d be happy to answer any of your additional concrete questions!

How do you resurface concrete?

We use an overlay process that’s specifically designed to resurface structurally sound concrete. You can use them for interior or exterior concrete, which is great for both residential and commercial properties. When it comes to cracking, if the concrete underneath the overlay is structurally sound, it will be unlikely that the overlay will crack. If there are existing cracks, we’ll do our very best to repair them before we start with the overlay. We also offer unlimited patterns and colors to create a truly unique design just for you. The maintenance is low to keep your overlaid concrete in great shape, which is the best part!

What is stamped concrete?

Stamped concrete is a great option for people that want a long term and aesthetically pleasing option. You can install stamped concrete for pool decks, patios, walkways, and driveways too. Stamped concrete can also be pigmented with minimal fading over its lifetime. We also offer hundreds of patterns that you can choose from, with options like brick, wood, or even slate patterns for example. We’ll work with you to choose the right look that will compliment your surroundings.

Can you stain concrete?

Yes, we can absolutely stain concrete! This is a great option for people that want to achieve a unique effect on a budget. We can provide several color options to choose from to fit your needs for both residential and commercial purposes. Stained concrete can also be applied for both interior and exterior surfaces. Stained concrete is also long-lasting and is very durable. The color will not chip or fade over time because it penetrates the top layer. It’s a great low maintenance option with lots of appeal!

What safety precautions do you use when working with concrete?

In Longmont, our concrete contractors use lots of safety precautions when working on your property. Although concrete is very easy to work with, our concrete crew uses some basic precautions and safest materials available. Our concrete team will wear protective head gear, to prevent any accidents on the job site. Eyes are particular susceptible to blowing dust and splattering concrete, so our team is required to wear protective glasses over their eyes. We also ask that our concrete workers wear protective padding on their knees and elbows when working with fresh concrete.

Blue Spruce Concrete was extremely professional and answered every single question we had for them. We always recommend them to anyone who is looking for concrete work in the Longmont area.
